Our UVA Topcoat System is not an ordinary paint system. This revolutionary ceramic coating and paint system combines advanced technology developed exclusively by NANO CERAMIC with the special properties of surface cleaning Nano Technology to deliver superior performance.

WHAT EXACTLY IS UVA TOPCOAT?

UVA Topcoat is a revolutionary ceramic-based coating system developed by NANO-CERAMIC®. It creates an ultra-thin, transparent protective layer that’s highly resistant to UV, chemicals, dirt, and heat. Unlike traditional PU, epoxy, or acrylic coatings, UVA Topcoat maintains clarity, flexibility, and integrity for up to 24 years—without yellowing, cracking, or delaminating.

WHAT ARE THE MAIN BENEFITS OF UVA TOPCOAT?

UV Resistant – blocks UVA rays to prevent surface aging and discoloration.             

Permanent Hydrophobicity – repels water, dirt, and pollution.

Extreme Chemical Resistance – protects against HF, HCl, citric acid, fuels, oils, and more.             

Self-Cleaning – anti-stain, anti-algae, and easy to maintain.

WHAT CAN I COAT WITH UVA TOPCOAT?

UVA Topcoat can be applied directly to most non-absorbent surfaces, such as:

Glass, acrylic, plexiglass
Marble, granite, natural stone
Stainless steel, aluminum, zinc, mild steel
PU varnished wood, PVC, HPL, melamine
Painted surfaces (acrylic, PU, epoxy)

Also works perfectly with our primer systems:
SIX1 (epoxy), SIX3 (PU wood filler), SIX4 (acrylic water-based)

HOW IS IT APPLIED?

Application Methods:
Spray: HVLP spray gun (1.0–1.3 mm nozzle), 20–30 psi
Wipe: Using cotton pads for small flat areas like countertops
Roll: 6mm short-nap microfiber roller for walls/ceilings

Preparation Steps:
1. Clean & degrease the surface
2. Wet sand with 1500–2000 grit
3. Final clean with acetone and tack cloth
4. Apply one or more thin layers (wet-on-wet allowed)
5. Flash-off time between layers: 5–15 minutes
6. Full cure: 5 days (or faster with IR curing)

WHAT IS THE EXPECTED LIFESPAN?

8 years with a single 6-8 µm layer
16–24 years with additional wet-on-wet layering

DOES IT COME IN COLORS?

Yes! By blending NANO-CERAMIC® Super Transparent Colorants with UVA Topcoat, you can achieve:
Subtle transparent tints (smoke, bronze, champagne, etc.)
Full-color RAL finishes
Metallic or frosted effects
Maintains gloss, durability, and clarity—ideal for modern interior or architectural design.

WHAT PRODUCTS ARE AVAILABLE?

UVA Topcoat comes in various hardness-flexibility combinations and finishes:
Gloss / Matte Finishes:
H9 – Maximum hardness, low flexibility
H6 – Balanced hardness and flexibility
H3 – Lower hardness, maximum flexibility (ideal for surfaces prone to movement)

Specialty Versions:
H9 Textured Anti-Slip – for floors and wet areas
H6 Eggshell White – for walls and ceilings

Super Transparent Colorized – for glass, metal, and décor applications

Coverage: Up to 80 m² per liter per layer (6 µm thickness)
Packaging: 1L or 500ml (ready-to-use)

IS UVA TOPCOAT FOOD SAFE?

Yes. UVA Topcoat is non-toxic, PFAS-free, and FDA food-contact safe. Its polymer structure is high-molecular-weight and environmentally stable—classified as a “Polymer of Low Concern (PLC)” under OECD standards.

CAN IT BE USED UNDERWATER?

Yes. It is suitable as an antifouling top layer for yachts or ships in motion. It reduces drag, repels marine contaminants, and improves fuel efficiency. Ideal for vessels stored on land or needing easy-to-clean hulls.

IS IT EXPENSIVE?

No. UVA Topcoat reduces system cost by eliminating multiple coating layers and expensive finishes. It applies directly over budget-friendly primers and offers up to 24 years of performance, making it the most affordable coating per year in its class.

WHAT IS THE WARRANTY?

UVA Topcoat includes an 8-Year Limited Warranty, when applied professionally on new-build concrete wall surfaces using approved methods and primers. The surface must be maintained with SHRE Pure Shine Reactivating Shampoo only. Warranty registration is required via our online form at www.nano-ceramic.com.

WHAT ARE THE MAINTENANCE REQUIREMENTS?

To ensure optimal long-term performance, we recommend:
Cleaning the coated surface at least twice a year
Always use SHRE Pure Shine Reactivating Shampoo
Avoid harsh or abrasive cleaners
Routine inspection for mechanical damage is advised annually
This gentle maintenance keeps the hydrophobic and anti-pollution features active and restores the easy-to-clean surface properties.
