Our UVA Topcoat System is not an ordinary paint system. This revolutionary ceramic coating and paint system combines advanced technology developed exclusively by NANO CERAMIC with the special properties of surface cleaning Nano Technology to deliver superior performance.

WHAT IS UVA TOPCOAT?

UVA Topcoat is an advanced ceramic-based coating developed by NANO-CERAMIC®. It forms an ultra-thin, transparent protective layer with exceptional resistance to UV light, chemicals, heat, and dirt. Unlike traditional polyurethane, epoxy, or acrylic coatings, UVA Topcoat remains clear, flexible, and crack-free for up to 24 years—without yellowing or surface degradation.

HOW IS IT APPLIED?

Application Methods:

  • Spray: HVLP spray gun (1.0–1.3 mm nozzle at 20–30 psi)
  • Wipe: With cotton pads on flat surfaces like counters
  • Roll: 6 mm short-nap microfiber roller for walls and ceilings

Preparation Steps:

  • Clean and degrease the surface
  • Wet sand with 1500–2000 grit
  • Final clean with 100% acetone and tack cloth
  • Apply 1–3 ultra-thin layers (wet-on-wet allowed)
  • Flash-off time between coats: 5–15 minutes
  • Fully cured in 5 days (or faster with IR heating)

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?

  • 8 years from a single 6 µm layer
  • 16–24 years with two or three layers (wet-on-wet method)

DOES IT COME IN COLORS?

Yes! When mixed with NANO-CERAMIC® Super Transparent Colorants, UVA Topcoat delivers:

  • Subtle transparent shades (smoke, champagne, bronze)
  • Full RAL colors
  • Metallic or frosted effects
  • You get modern color with no loss in clarity or performance—ideal for glass, metal, or decorative finishes.

WHICH FINISHES ARE AVAILABLE?

UVA Topcoat is available in multiple hardness levels and finish types:

Gloss / Matte Options:

  • H9 – Very hard, low flexibility
  • H6 – Balanced hardness and flexibility
  • H3 – Softer, maximum flexibility for moving or expanding surfaces
  • Special Finishes:
  • Anti-Slip Texture (H9) – for floors and bathrooms
  • Eggshell White (H6) – for interior walls or ceilings
  • Colorized Versions – transparent or opaque finishes with colorants
  • Coverage: Up to 80 meter square per 1 Litre (one layer)
  • Sizes: 500 ml or 1 L, ready to use

IS UVA TOPCOAT FOOD SAFE?

Yes. UVA Topcoat is non-toxic, PFAS-free, and complies with FDA food-contact regulations. It’s made with high-molecular-weight polymers that do not degrade into harmful substances and are considered Polymers of Low Concern (PLC) under OECD standards.

CAN IT BE USED UNDERWATER?

Yes. UVA Topcoat is an excellent antifouling top layer for marine applications—reducing drag, resisting marine buildup, and improving fuel efficiency. Ideal for boats in motion or stored on land.

IS IT EXPENSIVE?

No. UVA Topcoat replaces complex multi-layer systems with a single-layer solution. It reduces labor, material costs, and maintenance—making it the most cost-efficient high-performance coating per year.

HOW DO I MAINTAIN THE COATING?

To keep UVA Topcoat performing at its best:

Wash the surface at least twice per year

Only use SHRE Pure Shine Reactivating Shampoo

Avoid abrasive or unapproved chemicals

Inspect the coated area annually for damage

This keeps the hydrophobic, glossy, and self-cleaning properties fully active.
